The Cause
Never settling for anything less than equal justice under law
The federal courts are not working for all of us. Too often, courts favor the wealthy and powerful over everyday people, creating corrupt outcomes and perpetuating inequality.
For our democracy to work as it should, judges must be committed to achieving equal justice and working to protect everyone’s most critical civil rights: voter access, health care, LGBTQ equality, disability rights, protections for immigrants, rights of working people, freedom from discrimination based on religion, environmental protections, gun safety, and more.

The Content
As the Trump administration was achieving record-shattering judicial appointments, our team helped to lead the Fair Courts Task Force, the organizing body for a large group of organizations who sought to educate the public about the impact of federal courts, evaluate the civil rights records of federal judicial nominees, talk to decision makers, and mobilize public participation in defense of a judiciary that recognizes and protects the rights of all people.
Contributions included:
- Momentum for Justice Jackson – Working at the speed of light, we created a flurry of inspiring and educational multimedia content in support of Ketanji Brown Jackson, the first Black woman and first public defender to ever serve on our nation’s highest court.
- Ongoing Courts Content – It wasn’t easy, but we were tasked to help “regular people” understand why they should care about the judicial system. We refreshed the branding and leveraged videos, artist partnerships, events, and more to help demonstrate how courts impact our lives and to spark engagement with new audiences.
